Off to Finland

March 31, 2008- After 8 days of meetings, set-up and teardown in Lulea, Sweden, we are now off to visit some dealers and our distributor in Finland. We start by driving from Sweden to northern Finland, known as Lapland.
We of course ate some more reindeer, but we also went to the home of Santa Clause of Rovaniemi.
Our last night we spent in Helsinki. It is great city and we enjoyed it some of our people from our Finnish distributor. Dinner and drinks and a walk around downtown. What a great end to the trip.

Check out some pics of my trip!!

Colorado is next on my agenda....

Ya, We in Sweden

March 23, 2008- So this year's Easter was spent half on an airplane and half in Lulea, Sweden. We headed overseas for our International Snow Meeting and spent the first 3 days setting up and getting ready. All went very well and the weather and location was spectacular. After 2 days of meetings and presentations, I got to spend the next morning riding snowmobiles through the trails.
The hotel was amazing. I stole the villa for 3 of us girls so we had out own lodge for the time we were there. It was quite the pad to crash in. It happened to be filled with about 20 dead animals hanging on the walls. The fox scared me the most when I came around the corner the first time, but you get used to them.

On our closing night event for our portion of the meeting we were excited to have some great dinner and live music. The reindeer could have been cooked a little more, but it was still good.

We had our Swedish Idol sales manager perform for us with his band. He is an amazing performer. Following him we had the Rednecks perform. They are well know for their big hit, Cotton Eyed Joe. It was a great night and I got to hang with the band following their performance. I may have stole the guys fiddle, but I gave it back.

Those of you who have traveled internationally know the variety of foods you encounter. I have gotten used to the reindeer and actually enjoy it. I even tried reindeer heart on this trip for the first time. Other firsts were two kinds of caviar and Swedish pizza. Check out the pictures below. Our favorite combination was the chicken, pineapple, and banana. Yes, I said bananas.

First Trip to Vegas...

March 10, 2008- So today I stepped foot in Las Vegas for the first time. All I can say is WOW! I am super pumped that our summer sales meeting is going to be there, but am a little nervous as well that we may lose some of our international people there.

We will be staying at the Pallazzo, the new tower of the Venetian. I think it may be the nicest room I have ever seen. I'm attaching a few pictures.

We went and saw the water show at the Bellagio as well. They played Celine Dion- Titanic song and then Lee Greenwood- God Bless the USA. I really can't understand why people hate Americans.... The show was amazing, but hoping for better songs next time.

Check back in August for details from the big meeting. It will be a good one.
