More Foreigners.... What the ???

Saturday afternoon I made my next trip to the Geneva airport. Mom and dad landed at 4:35pm, right on schedule. They got their luggage and we were off. They loved the drive down to my place and were thrilled to see where I have been spending my time these last few months.
From there we trekked through a few small towns and found our way to Chamonix. We walked through the town and I showed them where they will do their adventures in the city. We then found a great place for dinner. Me and dad had some pasta and mom had a pizza. We had a great red wine. For dessert mom got her crème brulee and dad and I got some ice cream. It was a good start to the trip.

We walked around the rest of town and then headed back to my place.
Sunday we got up and headed for Annecy. A little under an hour drive, we go to town and found parking along the lake. From there we walked to the old part of town. Lucky us, it was their market day!! You would not believe all of the people. We got some fresh pastry. We sampled some cheese, sausage and more. It was incredible.

We ended up buying a sausage log rolled in fresh pepper, a slice of fresh brie and a large French baguette. Dinner was the best!! Add in some good wine and the day was a success.
The weather has not been great so far, rain the last two days, but the sun is creeping out so hopefully the week gets better.

Mom and dad did a half day and the local thermal spa today while I worked. We then went to Chamonix and found lunch and some good dessert. We are relaxing now, resting up for the rest of their adventure.
